Castlecooley was the home of the Cunningham family.
The main house is half the size following demoloition by the current owners who purchased the property from the family in 1939.The 1837 Tithe Applotment Book for Burt Parish records the occupant as Andrew Cunningham (1759–1843).
He with many other Cunninghams is buried in the old Burt churchyard on the SW corner of the estate. |
